Marbella Hotel was built in Corfu, Greece in the seventies.
The 2013 renovation created the need for a logo update and the development of a new visual identity.
The logo was redesigned so it would resemble the old logo but have a fresh look to it:
the curves of the symbol were simplified and made softer, the font became more friendly, the two parts of the name were accentuated (Mare + Bella), Corfu was added to the name (to avoid confusion with the city of Marbella in Spain) and the gold colour became brighter and warmer.
In order to create the new visual identity, we combined the two main architectural elements of the hotel and Corfu: columns and arches.
