Overview
Evangelo is the flagship of Ktima Gerovassiliou wines. We were asked to do a high class, luxurious yet simple label. We photographed the company’s wine cork and lit it theatrically against a black background. We used an elegant serif typeface for the wine name and placed all the other information on the back label.
The initial gift packaging was a simple wooden box containing 6 bottles. Ktima Gerovassiliou assigned industrial designer Thanassis Babalis to design a special box for 1, 2 or 3 bottles. This series of boxes was very successful and won the Dieline Award that year.
